Operating, safety and charging your BOLT
Everything you need to drive your golf cart with confidence: start-up, brakes, battery, rules and emergencies — in one place.
Start the vehicle
- 01Lift the seat and set the main switch to RUN
- 02Set the gear lever to NEUTRAL
- 03Insert the key and turn to the on position
- 04Check the battery indicator before driving off
- 05Select F (forward) or R (reverse)
- 06Gently press the accelerator to begin
Turn off the vehicle
- 01Bring the cart to a complete stop
- 02Set the selector to NEUTRAL or parking
- 03Engage the parking brake
- 04Turn the key to OFF and remove it
- 05Set the switch under the seat to OFF

Accelerator
Always on the right. Press gradually; avoid sudden acceleration and slow down in curves.
STOP
Brake
Always on the left. Brake smoothly and with anticipation; use the parking brake when stopped.
F·N·R
Gear selector
F forward, N neutral, R reverse (beeps when moving). ECO & Zycar: switch + key + F/R; Club Car: key + F/R.
Battery charging
Charging steps
- 01Verify the vehicle is fully OFF
- 02Connect the charger to the vehicle first
- 03Then plug the charger into the power outlet
- 04Verify the charging indicator is on
- 05Do not disconnect the charger while charging
8–10h
- Full charge: 8–10 hours — perfect overnight.
- Yellow indicator = charging · green = complete.
- Do not move the vehicle while charging. Do not fully drain the battery.

- Drivers 18+ with a valid license
- Use only inside residential communities, villas and resorts
- All passengers seated while moving
- Respect capacity: 4 seats → 360 kg · 6 seats → 540 kg
- Report failures or accidents immediately
- Defensive driving and respect for internal rules
✕ Forbidden
- Driving under alcohol, drugs or impairing medication
- Minors or unlicensed drivers
- Driving on the beach, sand, public roads or unauthorized areas
- Overloading or standing passengers
- Reckless driving, stunts or commercial use
- Driving barefoot or in unsuitable footwear
